Established in 1981, the Institute of Systems Science at National University of Singapore (NUS-ISS) develops digital talent for the industry through graduate education, professional development programmes, consultancy, applied research and career services.
NUS-ISS is widely recognised as a champion of the national SkillsFuture movement, enabling a digital economy that is always learning and always leading. NUS-ISS has implemented a unique portfolio of multiple learning pathways, with a wide spectrum of programmes in critical industry disciplines, such as software development, data science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, smart health, digital government and digital innovation.
To date, over 130,000 infocomm & business professionals, 7,100 corporate customers and 5,900 post-graduate alumni members have benefitted from NUS-ISS’s suite of services. Its programmes are delivered by NUS-ISS staff with an average of more than 20 years of industry experience.

You are required to complete 2 post-diploma certificates within 2-year validity period to be awarded the Specialist Diploma qualification.
You will also receive the following certificates from Institute of Systems Science at National University of Singapore (NUS-ISS).

- Data Analytics Process & Best Practice
- Predictive Analytics – Insights of Trends and Irregularities
Entry Requirements
- A local Polytechnic Diploma or recognized Degree (with English as the medium of instruction) in business, engineering or technology or
- A local Polytechnic Diploma or recognized Degree (with English as the medium of instruction) in any other disciplines with at least one (1) year of relevant work experience.
In addition, some working knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be helpful. Students enrolled into the course are expected to bring along their personal laptop. Only Windows notebook computer (Microsoft Windows 10 or newer) is recommended as you will be using Windows-based software that is not compatible with the Apple Mac Operating System platform.

SkillsFuture Credit
This course is eligible for SkillsFuture Credit.
All Singaporeans aged 25 years and above can use their $500 SkillsFuture Credit from the government to pay for a wide range of courses. The credits can be used on top of existing course fee subsidies/funding. This is only applicable for self-sponsored applicants and must be applied via the SkillsFuture Portal. Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP)
