Course Information

This course is targeted at professionals, managers and entrepreneurs who want to know how to apply project management principles and best practices to advanced real-life scenarios with the aim of preparing for the highly regarded PMP accredited certification.

Learning Outcomes

Trainees will learn the 49 PMI processes which are grouped into five categories known as Process Groups. The iterative implementation of these collections of activities helps to ensure that the project is delivered in a structured manner.

The PMI processes are further grouped into 10 separate Knowledge Areas which are used on most projects. They are: Integration Mgt, Scope Mgt; Schedule Mgt; Cost Mgt; Quality Mgt; Resource Mgt; Communications Mgt; Risk Mgt; Procurement Mgt; Stakeholder Mgt. These knowledge areas are critical for managers and entrepreneurs who want to run businesses effectively and on sound principles.

In-class assessments.

A Certificate of Performance will be awarded to participants who achieve at least 75% attendance and pass all required assessment(s).

A Certificate of Participation will be awarded to participants who meet the 75% attendance requirement but did not pass all required assessment(s).

Entry Requirements

Applicants should have some years of experience as project managers in their areas of work and ideally they are looking to back their knowledge and obtain the prestigious PMP Certification which is globally recognized.

Course Fees

Funding period for this course is from 28 May 2021 to 30 Sep 2024.

SkillsFuture Credit
All Singaporeans aged 25 and above can use their $500 SkillsFuture Credit from the government to pay for a wide range of approved skills-related courses. Visit the SkillsFuture Credit website to choose from the courses available on the Training Exchange course directory.
