The skills and knowledge you possess will work to support your understanding of the interdependent connection between humans and animals, and the means of providing the best possible care to all animals.
Learning Outcomes
From the fundamentals of animal anatomy, husbandry, and pathology, to clinical practices and workplace safety, you will learn how to apply the skills and knowledge required in the diagnosis and treatment of animals seen in veterinary clinics and hospitals from highly experienced lecturers and industry practitioners.
You will also have the invaluable opportunity to practice what you learn in a real setting.

You are required to complete 2 post-diploma certificates within 2-year validity period to be awarded the Diploma (Conversion) qualification.
Entry Requirements
- A local Polytechnic Diploma or recognized Degree
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience or supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted may have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.

SkillsFuture Credit
This course is eligible for SkillsFuture Credit.
All Singaporeans aged 25 years and above can use their $500 SkillsFuture Credit from the government to pay for a wide range of courses. The credits can be used on top of existing course fee subsidies/funding. This is only applicable for self-sponsored applicants and must be applied via the SkillsFuture Portal. Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP)
